Programme in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR) and Business management are the postgraduate level courses offered at XLRI Jamshedpur. Bachelor degree holders with 50% marks can seek admission to the course by qualifying Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT). Selected candidates should make their fee payment in three instalments.

Admission Procedure of BM and PMIR in XLRI Jamshedpur

Graduates can seek admission to management courses in XLRI by qualifying Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT).  XAT qualified candidates have to attend group discussion and personal interview. Eligible candidates have the option to apply for utmost three courses. Such candidates should attend multiple group discussions and interview sessions for selection. Short list of candidates for interview is prepared not only on the basis of XAT score and GD session, but also on the basis of their academic performance and work experience. Such factors are considered while preparing the final selection list also. Interviews for aspirants who can’t attend physically (due to some valid reasons) will be carried out in online mode.

Applications for attending XAT test can be forwarded through its official website. Application fee for attending the test is Rs.900/- which must be paid through any of the branches of Axis Bank.
