B.Tech in Food Technology– Colleges and Admission Process
National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, SRM University, Tamil Nadu and Osmania University, Andhra Pradesh are some of the well known institutes in India that offer Bachelor of Technology in Food Technology. Higher secondary education in science stream is the minimum educational qualification required for this course. The duration of the course is four years. Admission is carried out on the basis of national level entrance exam such as AIEEE. Apart from this, some institutes conduct their own entrance test as part of admission procedure.

Admission Procedure
Candidates who have passed higher secondary level having studied subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology are eligible to apply for this course. Candidates need to have a minimum of 60 % marks in the qualifying exam. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission. Selection procedure will be based on the scores obtained in All India Rank of AIEEE. In addition to this, some of the Universities conduct their own entrance exam for admission.
