Huawei Technologies often carry out on campus/off campus recruitments (latest on 22nd February, 2013) for the selection for technically skilled candidates. Technically qualified candidates in subjects like Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Applied Electronics, and Computer Science are usually considered for recruitment. Such candidates must hold a minimum of 65% marks throughout academics, from 10th till UG/PG. Selection is done on the basis of written test and interview. Written exam comprise of questions on aptitude, technical knowledge and verbal ability.

Eligibility Criterion for Campus Placement in Huawei Technologies

Technically qualified candidates are usually considered for recruitment in Huawei Technologies. Eligible applicant must be a bachelor’s or master’s degree holder in any of the following subjects.

  • Computer Science
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Applied Electronics
  • Instrumentation and Control

Usually fresh candidates (with the above mentioned qualifications) with a minimum of 65% marks, throughout academics are considered for recruitment. MCA holders with specific cut off marks are also eligible to apply. Also, all applicants must be free of backlogs at the time of selection process.

Campus Selection Procedure in Huawei Technologies

The placement process of Huawei Technologies comprises of two main sections. Like most of IT companies, written test is used as the first round to identify talented candidates. Second section is interview. This is again divided in to two sections, Technical and HR.

Written exam include questions without multiple choice answers. Candidate needs to find answer for each question and write it on the space provided in the question paper itself. There will be questions to measure the verbal ability, technical skills and aptitude ability of the candidate.

Out of the total of 20 questions (in written test), 10 questions will be asked from aptitude section, 15 questions from technical side and the last 5 questions from verbal ability. Aptitude section is designed mainly to measure the IQ level of the candidate. In technical section, there will be questions based on signals and systems, networks, basic communication, mobile communication, fourier transforms and wireless communication. Verbal ability section is the easiest section, where the grammatical skills of the candidate are basically measured.

Those who pass through the written test are short listed for interview. First section is the technical interview, where the candidate is asked with questions from subject related topics, projects, industrial visits, etc. Final round is the HR interview, where candidate are asked with questions on personnel aspects and attitude.
