Different types of scholarships are arranged for post graduates in IIM. OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholars, ONGC SC/ST Merit cum Means Scholarships, Ocwen Scholarship for Competence in Academics, GOI Merit-cum-Means Scholarships, SC/ST Scholarships, Family Income Linked Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme, and Aditya Birla Group Scholarships are some among them. Need based scholarship schemes include IIMA Special Scholarships (need-based) and Industry Scholarships (need-based).

OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholars

This is a prominent scholarship program which is offered by OP Jindal group specifically for (each PGP I and PGP II) programs. The students are generally selected for this award based on academic merit where in students needs to attend and qualify an online test and P.I, in order to get the scholarship.

ONGC SC/ST Merit cum Means Scholarships

As the name refers, this scholarship is awarded by ONGC to selected SC/ST students studying in IIM. The scholarship is offered on a yearly basis to first year students.

Ocwen Scholarship for Competence in Academics

This is a scholarship program which is awarded by Ocwen Financial Solutions Pvt. Ltd to first year students of any particular course. It is compulsory for students to present a research paper as part of the selection procedure. If the research paper presented get selected candidates need to attend a Personal interview to confirm their selection to scholarship.

Industry Scholarships (need-based)

These are primarily need based scholarships awarded to those students who are not eligible to submit applications for IIMA special scholarships. A total of 15 scholarships are awarded to different students on the basis of funds contributed by different reputed companies. The total amount of Industry Scholarships (need-based) is Rs 10, 000/- per student.

SC/ST Scholarships

Under this scholarship, selected SC/ST students pursuing post graduate degree programs are given Rs 150/- per month for a time period of 10 months.

IIMA Special Scholarships (need-based)

Under this scholarship scheme, post graduate students having a gross family income not above Rs 2, 00,000/- are eligible to get scholarship (amount equal to full tuition fee amount). The need for this scholarship amount is assessed on the basis of family income (parent’s income), family asset ownership, dependents on the family income, financial position of the family and family’s gross annual income.

GOI Merit-cum-Means Scholarships

This is a merit cum scholarship given by Government of India for both 1st and 2nd year post graduate students. The scholarship amounts to Rs 2,200/- per annum and it are offered to about 25% of total students in every academic year (of non sponsored student body). It is compulsory for candidates to satisfy all the specific merit requirements laid down by Government of India.

Family Income Linked Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme

Both 1st year and 2nd year post graduates are given this scholarship scheme. A post graduate student whose family income falls below or equal to 1 lakh have the option of full waiver of non tuition fees. PG students who don’t have family income above 6 lakhs are eligible to apply for this scholarship scheme.

Aditya Birla Group Scholarships

This is a merit scholarship instituted by Aditya Birla group to both 1st year and 2nd year post graduates. The total scholarship amount given is Rs.1.25 lakhs for each student per year, which is determined purely on academic merit attained by students.

    Hello sir ,myself chitrashi is third year student in N.I.T. srinagar and three months ago my father has died and obviously i have problem so what should i do to get any financial help through this scholarship. i have also good pointer in course.
