Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) is a pioneer institute that offers various UG and PG courses related to science and technology. Admission Process in VNIT

Admission to B.Tech is offered for Indian nationals with a valid AIEEE score. Those having completed 12^th class with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects can apply for AIEEE. A centralized admission process is organized for the purpose by Central Counseling Board (CCB) constituted by Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development. Engineering graduation with a valid GATE score is mandatory to have admission to M.Tech course.

B.Sc degree is in the concerned subject is mandatory to apply for M.Sc courses. The qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 55% marks. Admissions are primarily done on the basis of marks obtained in IIT Joint Admission Test. Non JAM candidates should attend an entrance exam conducted by VNIT. Separate entrance test is conducted for each subject. The entrance test is of one hour duration and is of objective model.
