Allocation of candidates to NIT is made through a centralized counseling process. Candidates can make choice on the concerned NIT to pursue the course. Marks obtained in qualifying exam and entrance test are considered during allotment of institute for study.

Apart from the fee mentioned, aspirants should pay the mess fee of Rs 9500/- per semester. So the total fee to be paid at the time of admission is Rs. 34190/-. Fees for IIT are subject to change according the changes in Government policies and procedures.
