Eligibility Criteria to become a B.Sc in Medical Lab Technology
To become a B.Sc in Medical Lab Technology, one must have done 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The school or the board must be recognized by the government.

The main job profile of a Medical Lab Technician is to perform diagnostic tests on samples of tissue, stool, urine, blood and other body fluids. The outcomes of these diagnostic tests will help a Physician in diagnosing the illness or disease of the patient. They can find work in hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical companies, Government funded research clinics.

While these jobs don’t require a technician to interact directly with the patient, but his/her findings can alter the course of the treatment which is being given to the patients. These jobs don’t require patient interaction skills which other medical jobs require. Primarily such jobs require a person to be better versed in computers and other Medical equipments along with an excellent attention to detail.
Many Medical labs are located inside a huge hospital or a clinic. Apart from this, there are private laboratories who charge some fees for analyzing body fluids and specimens. Other labs could be University or Government owned ones.
