Admission Process for B.Tech courses at SASTRA University

Admissions are offered on the basis of merit. Out of the total seats available, admission to 70% seats is done on the basis of score in the qualifying examination. Candidates who have completed 12th class examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics can seek admission to B.Tech courses. A normalized merit list will be prepared by the University adjusting for marks scored under each board to make scale of comparison equal. Top score in each board is considered as 100 % marks and a normalization of other students are done on the basis of the same. Admissions to rest of the 30% seats are done on the basis of national level entrance exams like AIEEE/ISEET. Notification for admission will be issued in all leading news dailies and also in the official portal of SASTRA University.

• Tuition Fees: Rs. 40,000/- per semester
• Development Fees: Rs. 10,000/-
• Other fees:  Rs. 7,000/-

Other fees include fee for Personality Development, Sports, Unit Tests, Marks verification, Medical Test, ID Card, etc. This fees along with development fee must be paid only once at the time of admission. Fee structure mentioned here is subject to change according to University norms.
