The paper is compulsory for the students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The paper familiarizes the students with topics like object oriented concepts and its step by step and systematic study. Concept of file, input and output and concepts of data abstraction, concept of class and mode are taught in the paper.  

Importance of the paper:

The object oriented programming has brought a revolution in the field of C and C++ programming; the concept of Inheritance significantly reduces the efforts of the programmer and enhances the readability and efficiency of the program. The class and mode concept in case of oop brings about much ease to the complexity of programs.

Pattern:

The question paper is divided into four sections and each section carries two questions of 20 marks each. The questions from section A and section B have subdivision in which the students have the option to select any four of the seven question given, but the question from section c and section D do not have any option.

Questions are frequently framed from the important topics of the subject. These topics includes Concepts and fundamentals of operator overloading, dynamic binding, elaborate definition of polymorphisms, access modifiers, class template and function template, data types variables and programs written on it, concepts related to class. Apart from all these, questions like preprocessors and its explanations along with programs on overloading of operator, virtual operators and its definition, along with its advantages.

Time and marks:

The maximum marks are 100 and the maximum time allotted is 3 hours.
