Anna University is one of the well known universities in India. Many courses are offered by the institute. The instituted provides higher education courses in Engineering, Technology and allied Science. The university has a large campus in Chennai. There are entrance tests for admission for various courses in the institute. The candidates who want to take up the course M.Sc. Chemistry have to clear the entrance test.

Structure of Anna university M.Sc Applied Chemistry Entrance Exam

The basic pattern of the entrance exam will be multiple choice questions. For each question four alternative answers will be provided. The candidate has to choose the correct answer from the given alternatives. There will be a total of 100 questions in M.Sc Chemistry Entrance exam. Negative marking will be there for each wrong answer. The candidate will obtain one mark for each correct answer. For every wrong answer ¼ marks will be reduced. No marks are reduced for unanswered questions. If a candidate provides multiple shading, then the answer will be considered as wrong and ¼ marks will be reduced.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should have passed B.Sc. Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics as Ancillary Subject (or) B.Sc. Applied Science from any recognized university.

How to Apply?

The application form and the information brochure can be obtained by the candidate directly from the Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai -600025. The candidates who cannot obtain the form personally can download the application from the Website of Anna University http://www.annauniv.edu. The candidate has to send the completed application form to the Director (Admissions), Anna University Chennai, Chennai 600 025 on or before the last date of submission.  The applicant should enclose a DD of Rs 600/- drawn in favor of The Director (Admissions), Anna University Chennai payable at Chennai from any nationalized bank.

How to fill the Form?

All the information provided in the application form by the student should be correct. The candidate should fill in the name, father’s name and other details as per the higher secondary school certificate. The applicant should personally fill in the application form. The candidate should enter the address details correctly. The university will send all further communication in this address. The details of the bank draft should be entered correctly. The candidates should check all the details once again before submitting the form.
