Aryabhatta Institute of Engineering & Management, shortly called as AIEMD came into existence in the year 2003 and the institute is offering education with affiliation from the West Bengal University of Technology. The institute was established with the objective of offering highly qualified professional manpower to the society.

Intake Capacity of the Institute:

The intake capacity AIEM is 60 students each for most of the courses, except for Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Hospitality Management and the intake capacity for these two courses is 90 and 30 students respectively.

Advanced Information Technology courses:

In addition to the above-mentioned courses, the institute also arranges for different short-term courses on system programming using LINUX, Network administration using LINUX, Microsoft Technologies, MYSQL & PHP. DBMS with oracle & SQL Server, J2ME & J2EE, OOPS with Java & C++.

Industry-Institute Partnership Cell:

Aryabhatta Institute of Engineering & Management has an industry-Institute partnership cell at the city of Kolkata and the key functions of the cell are to conduct walk-in-interviews, conducting HR and technical workshops, inviting industrial experts to offer customized training to the students and to develop projects of different industries.

Extra-Curricular Activities at the institute:

The institute encourages the students to take part in CSI essay writing competition, conference papers at national level, educational competitions conducted by different institutions/universities and to attend seminars on advanced topics like soft computing, VLSI, Networking, mobile communication, etc…

Special learning process:

The institute is following a special learning process with aids like LCD projector, special tutorial classes, interactive classroom teaching and regular knowledge evaluation of students.
