The Banaras Hindu University is one of the most recognizes as well as reputed Institutions in the nation and offers some of the best PG based Professional degree to the candidates. The University was established through an act of the Parliament, which offers some of the most acclaimed courses to the deserving candidates. The University offers all those deserving candidates for undertaking admission in the PG based course of engineering or M.Tech, as well as M.Pharm.
The University has bee very well recognized for the highly regarded 100% placement to the candidates. This elite University was founded in the year 1916 by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, through a Parliamentary Legislation, BHU, Act of 1915. The campus of the institute spreads over an area of 5.5 kilometers square. The University offers an impressive team of over 144 teaching staff, and accommodates over 13, 000 students.
Objectives:
The university was primarily established with the primary objective of enhancing the study of the prestigious Hindu Shastras as well as Sanskrit Literature, which allows for popularizing as well as preserving the ethnic languages. This helps in benefitting the different aspects of the Hindu Society and help in establishing a conduct for the same.

Admission:
The University takes an annual entrance exam based on which the candidates are selected for their seat in the respective courses. Basically the allocation of the seat is done on the basis of the marks obtained by the individual candidates in the written entrance exam.
Courses provided by the University:
• MTech courses in all Engineering Disciplines (2 years)
• MPharm (2 years)
Eligibility Criteria:
• Candidates must have completed BTech from the recognized University with at least 60% aggregate to be eligible for this course.
• Candidates cleared GATE can apply for MPharm courses provided by the University.

• Commencement of Issue of application forms: 03rd January, 2011
. Last Date for Receipt of Postal Requisition for Forms: 21st February, 2011
• Last date for submission of completed application forms: 09th March, 2011 (without late fee), 15th march, 2010 (with late fee).
