Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (SCMS) is one of the prominent institutes that offer Bachelor of Business Administration. Admission is carried out on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the Institute. Those who have completed Higher Secondary course with 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criterion for BBA in SCMS

Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary course in any stream from a recognized University are eligible to apply for this course. Minimum mark required for general category candidates so as to be eligible is 50%. Those who are belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe require a minimum of 45% marks in qualifying examination.

Selection Procedure

Admission to the course of Bachelor of Business Administration is carried out on the basis of marks obtained in Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). There will be 150 questions in this exam. Questions will be asked in objective type multiple choice formats. Candidates can expect questions from the following topics.

  • General English
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • General Awareness
  • Analytical & Logical Reasoning

There will be a maximum of 40 questions from each section except Analytical & Logical Reasoning. There will be 30 questions from Analytical and Logical Reasoning. Each question carries one mark. Candidates will be given a maximum of 150 minutes to answer all questions. There will be five sections in question papers. All sections are mandatory. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.  Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 40% marks in entrance exam so as to be eligible. Final selection will be on the basis of composite scores obtained in entrance exam and qualifying exam.
Course Curriculum of BBA in SCMS
The duration of the course is 3 years. It is further divided into 6 semesters. The course curriculum is designed to provide advanced level of classes about management so as to transform to a corporate personality. The syllabus prescribed is a combination of elective courses as well as core subjects. The entire program is for 150 credits. The course structure covers the below mentioned topics.

  • Accounting & Finance
  • Entrepreneurship Management
  • Environmental Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • International Business
  • Marketing Management

Methods of instruction include class room lectures, case studies, industrial visits, seminars and project works.
