B.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
The course of B.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering is among the most prestigious courses of in the field of engineering. Electronics and Instrumentation is the branch of engineering that deals with measurement and control of machines, other technical instruments, designing of electronics chips, integrated circuits (IC).
It is a specialized engineering course focused on the principle and operation of measuring instruments which are needful for designing and configuring automatic systems along with the study of microprocessor.
Eligibility:
The candidates applying for the course of B.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering should hold a pass certificate of 10 and 10+2 form any recognized University or board of the country. The candidates must qualify the state joint entrance exams (JEE) or may even enter the course through All India Joint Entrance Exam (AIJEE). The minimum percentage of marks to sit in these exams is 50%. Candidates can also join after completion of their diploma courses.
Course outlook:
B.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering is a course having a span of 4 years, which includes two semesters per year, i.e. a total of eight exams in the span of the course. The students carrying on with the course should re-register their names after each semester in the same University.
Few subjects involved in the study of the course are: Microprocessor, computer Architecture, analog electronics, digital electronics, statistical mathematics, etc.
Job prospects:
The students after completion of this course can get high profile jobs with fair salary in private firms. Candidates can also work as engineers in government sectors. They can even work as a teacher in colleges or Universities.
