Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification:

Candidates must have completed their Diploma in Automobile or mechanical engineering or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Department of Technical Education of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Even, candidates with equivalent qualification in distance mode duly approved by the AICTE are eligible to apply or candidates with graduation from a university approved by AICTE can apply. Candidates must possess one year diploma in stores management/material management recognized by the Department of HRD of Government of India.

Age: The upper age limit to apply for the position is 25 years as on the 1st of July 2011. Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for BC/ST/SC and three years for ex-servicemen apart from the length of service rendered in defence services subject to a maximum of 45 years.

Application fee:

Application fee of Rs.400 (inclusive of application and examination fee) should be paid by OC candidates and Rs.200 (application fee alone) should be paid by departmental/Ex-SER/ST/SC/BC candidates. Candidates belonging to other states will have to pay a fee of Rs.400 irrespective of the category to which they belong. The fee should be paid at AP online centres between the 8th of August 2011 and 26th of August 2011. The application fee should be paid before submission of online application since candidates will have to enter the journal number of the fee receipt in the online application.
