The Bachelor of Business Administration(BBA) is a bachelors program in business administration. The Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) is a degree program in management studies.

BBA course and career opportunities

Students must have a pass in their class 12 exams with at least 45% marks to apply for this course. They must have taken English as a subject. Candidates who have finished their course can find employment in both private and government sectors. They can find jobs in Marketing & Sales, Financial Services and in Hospitality & Tourism. Many firms in our country employ students of BBA background in Human Resource section. Candidates of this field have a salary of around Rs 12,000 a month.

BMS course and career opportunities

Candidates should have cleared their 10+2 class can submit an application for this course. They can get jobs in both individual firms as well as government establishments. Employment can also be found with the corporate sector. Import-export companies, governmental organizations, financial institutions, and commercial banks in addition to multinational companies in India and overseas also hire students of BMS. It is also possible for the students to establish their own consultancy or export-import units in International Trade. The salary offered is similar to that of BBA students.

Key differentiators

The BBA course is a three year undergraduate degree program which provides students with knowledge based in business. It is mainly focused in management and enables students to achieve explicit knowledge of marketing, accounting and technology in addition to management. BMS is also an undergraduate degree program that has duration of 3 years. This course focuses on logical and analytical studies. Though both these courses are management oriented, the BMS course concentrates on systematic and reasonable management while the BBA course gives attention to core studies. There is also a difference in the course syllabus of both these programs.

    which course has a greater importance?
    advice me where should i persue this degree frm India or abroad?
