LIC of India is planning to engage Direct Sales Executives for its different offices purely on contract basis under the jurisdiction of South Central Zonal Office. Details regarding the notification issued by LIC in this respect are given below:

Period of Contract: Three years

Remuneration: Candidates appointed for the position of Direct Sales Executives will be paid on performance basis.

Eligibility Conditions:

Education: Candidates must be UG degree holders in any discipline from an Indian university and preference will be given to candidates with diploma or UG Degree in management/marketing. They should possess good working knowledge of English and one regional language. Knowledge of soft skills like excel/word/power point would be additional advantage.

Age Requirement: Candidates must be between the age group of 21 and 35 years of age as on 1st of September 2011. For upper age limit applicable to reserved category candidates, visit

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be based on written test (if necessary), followed by interview. For details regarding syllabus and venue of written test, visit Candidates succeeding in the written test will only be called for interview.

Cost of Application:

The application fee is Rs.100 (other than SC/ST candidates) should be paid by cash at any cash counter during cash hours in any branch offices of LIC under Account Code 114034. On payment of fee, candidates will get a miscellaneous receipt, which should be produced at the time of written test. Fee can be paid from 29th August 2011 until 19th of September 2011.
