The abbreviated form of this course is commonly known as M.D (Hom.). Doctor of medicine in homeopathy is a postgraduate degree in homeopathy. M.D is a Latin word which means ‘Medicine Doctor’. The duration of this course is 3 years that includes 1 year of house insurgency, were the candidates should stay in the campus and get the training. This course is of 6 terms of 6 months each. The course is designed as in-service training rather than lectures.

The students will be asked to take part in conferences, GD’s, seminars, clinical meetings and journal club. M.D (Hom.) course contains training to produce world class professionals, researchers and excellent teachers. Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH) is a statutory apex body under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of Indian System MD (Homoeopathy) of Medicine & Homoeopathy. Central Council of Homeopathy prescribes course curriculum, evolves standards of education and maintains central registers of homoeopathy physicians.
