The Software Engineering & Case Tools Paper will cover all the fundamental concepts of software engineering and to score properly in this paper, you need a very good preparation. You need to know about all the software models, like the famous waterfall model, as these are the areas from where the questions are framed. 

The paper consists of subjective questions only and has a total of 27 questions. The question paper has only one section containing all the 27 questions and the candidates are required to answer the entire question in the allotted 3 hours. All the 27 questions do not carry equal. The marks vary according to the grade of the question whether it is short or long type answer question.

There are no objective questions and the candidate will have to practice a lot of drawing since there are many questions that deal with the drawing of flow charts. A single question may have more than one question and each answer is marked separately. The paper is a bit tough and good practice is required to crack the exam. The best way to practice is to refer to the question papers of previous year exam.
