DOECC B Level Course is a recognized course by the HRD ministry of the government of India. In professional terms it can be regarded as on same grounds with to a degree in the MCA course. The DOECC society conducts an examination every year for selection of students in this course.

Qualification for appearing in this exam:

If the perspective candidates have completed their A level course, they are relieved from the first two semesters. Those who have Government recognized PPDCA/Government recognized PGDCA will also be eligible for exemption of some subjects on the basis of the courses they had gone through. Graduate/Government recognized polytechnic engineering diploma students, followed in each case by three years relevant experience are also eligible.

Scoring and Negative Marking:

Questions are of subjective type with numerical and reasoning questions; these questions are of 20 marks each. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

Mode of Exam:

As the paper is a subjective one and as it includes lengthy calculations it is to be answered on an answer booklet containing specific number of pages.

Format:

Paper contains subjective questions; there are a total of seven questions from which students have to answer five questions each carrying 20 marks.

Paper Pattern:

Paper of Applied Operations Research consists of only subjective type questions and there are 7 questions in it and 5 from it are needed to be solved. Question no. 1 is compulsory to be solved and rests 4 are to be chosen from remaining 6 questions.

Marking:

The whole paper is of 100 marks and students have to answer 5 questions each carrying 20 marks.

Schedule:

The maximum time given for the paper is 3 hours.
