Duliajan College started to function from the 1st of August 1969 to meet the long felt need of an educational institution in the easternmost region of India. Initially the college started with just 100 students and now it has grown as a premier institution admitting and offering education to thousands of students under the commerce, science and arts faculties. The National Assessment and Accreditation council has awarded the college with B+ status and it is affiliated to Dibrugarh University.

The library of Duliajan College is provided with recent books on all teaching and other disciplines and it has a collection of a number of books, newspapers and periodicals. Students’ Union:

The students’ union functioning under Duliajan College organizes different activities like debate, literary and cultural contests, quiz, sports and games, etc… for the development of the potentialities of the students.
