Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board is located at Shimla, India. The board is comprises of total seven members which includes one Chairman also. The present chairman cum Managing Director of the board is Mr. R. D. Dhiman (IAS). The board was constituted on September, 1971 under the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Government of India. The board was established in accordance with the Electricity Act, 1948. The major objective or function of the board is to promote the development of power generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

Job Profile:

Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board is making a special recruitment drive under personal with Disability for filling up the following vacant positions of Fitter (Hydro Mech.), Peon, Helper (Hydro Mech.), Helper M&T and T-Make. Selection of eligible candidates will be made purely on contract basis only for a fixed period of time.

1. Recruitment of Fitter (Hydro Mech.):

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have done passed Matriculation or its equivalent froma recognized board. Candidates should also have done ITI certificate in Fitter Trade from a recognized institution.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 9450 per month.

2. Recruitment of Peon:

Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be Middle pass or above from a recognized board or institute as this is the minimum educational qualification required for the post.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 6650 per month.

3. Recruitment of Helper (Hydro Mech.):

Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have done Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 6800 per month.

4. Recruitment of Helper M&T:

Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have done Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.

5. Recruitment of T-Make:

Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be Middle pass or above from a recognized board or institute as this is the minimum educational qualification required for the post.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 6650 per month.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates are required to have age more than the prescribed minimum age limit i.e. 18. Also, the age of candiates should not exceed the maximum age limit i.e. 45 years as on the last date of reciept of application. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories may get relaxation of few years in the maximum age limit or upper age limit as per the rules of Government of Himachal Pradesh.
