Can B.Tech candidates apply for diploma post in any government job, if the educational qualification mentioned is Diploma? Can you please provide me the details on the same as soon as possible? Awaiting to get the response soon as possible. Thank you!

I am sorry to say that you cannot apply for those kinds of jobs where the requirement is for Diploma holder candidates.
You must have Diploma certificate and qualification in order to apply for such vacancies.
Being a B.Tech holder candidate, you cannot apply for the above mentioned posts.

Basically whether you are eligible or not depends upon the concerned organization's recruitment. Yes, for some of the organizations like Indian Railways, or some other Central government organizations you may apply with B.Tech qualification for Diploma level courses. But remember that there are some organizations namely, NTPC, BHEL, DRDO ..etc., and for which you cannot apply with B.Tech qualification. Yes, they clearly mention that Diploma in Engineering in concerned discipline is required for some Technician posts. So in this case you may not apply for such recruitment's.

Yes, a B.Tech graduates can apply for diploma post in some government jobs. The companies like DRDO, BHEL etc does not accept the B.Tech graduates for the diploma post. But in Railways and in some other organizations you can apply with B.Tech for the diploma posts. So, you have to check the notifications clearly before you apply for the post. So for some jobs, you can apply and for some jobs, you cannot apply with B.Tech qualification for diploma post.

If the post is valid to apply for only Diploma holders and is specified clearly that only diploma holders can apply, then only in that case a B.Tech holder cannot apply, otherwise there is no such problem in applying for the post if nothing is specifically mentioned.

No, you cannot apply for the jobs in which mentioned educational qualification is diploma. If you have done diploma course before pursuing B.TECH only then you are eligible for above mentioned job. Thanks

Yes, any qualification which is of same field and is considered superior will be valid for government job but they give priority to candidates with diploma holders in most cases. These days due to unemployment many B.Tech graduates are looking for lower level jobs which only require diploma or even class 12th.

You are eligible for it surely because in government jobs, there is no such rule which bars higher qualified candidates to apply for a job. Only in private jobs there are such rules.

Yes they can. There are many govt jobs like SSC je,bsnl he posts in which even the degree students can apply . So,yes they are eligible to apply.
