Re: Can distance education student apply for UGC NET?
UGC NET is the University Grants Commission National Eligibility test. A candidate can appear for this entrance exam for lectureship and Junior Research fellowship if the candidate has done post graduation from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in it.
If you have done in distance mode then your institute must be approved by UGC and Distance Education council for master's degree. The upper age limit for the JRF is 28 years. It is conducted in June and December every year. |
