Eligibility to apply in UGC-NET for MBA postgraduate of Madras Distance University?
Sir,
I have completed my MBA through Madras Distance University. I want to apply for PhD course from UGC-NET. Can I eligible for applying? Please advise fast. Thanking you. |

For UGC NET you must have a Master degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized University. In case of reserved category 50% marks in the requirement after relaxation according to government rules.
Hence, if you fulfill the percentage criteria then you can start preparing for the exam without any worries. After qualifying you can apply for Ph.D admission or lecturership or JRF according to your eligibility. |

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in year by UGC. Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree. Age criteria for NET exam:- For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years. For Lectureship Post :-There is no age criteria. |
