Can I apply for SSB Interview having completed B.E. Mechanical on Diploma basis?


Hello Sir,
Myself Lathish T S. I am an Engineer. I had join 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering after my 10th. After my Diploma I have done my B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. Those candidates who had done their Diploma have direct entry for the 3rd semester of B.E. So my question is, can I apply for SSB interview? If yes, is their any separate application format?

You can apply for direct SSB only for short service commission like TGC. You have mechanical engineering degree completed which means you are not eligible for TGC. Only those in third year of the course are eligible.

You can try for CDS exam but it will have written exam and then SSB interview for successful candidates only. Therefore, just be prepared for the exam.

I have completed 12th and then I completed diploma and now m completing B.E .My question is will I be eligible for tgc? Hoping to get the answer soon
