GWSSB is the short form of Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board was established by the Government of Gujarat to review and co-ordinate water supply and sanitation programmes in the state of Gujarat. In the process of offering secured water to the people of Gujarat, the board has so far completed several projects and it is also currently engaged in carrying out different projects for the same purpose.

Name of the position: Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)

Number of Vacancies: 25

Pay Scale: Candidates, who are selected for the position of Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) will get a pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 plus GP of Rs.4600

Eligibility Requirement:

Educational Qualification: To apply for the position of Assist Engineer (Mechanical), candidates must be degree holders in mechanical engineering from a recognized university. They should also possess operating skills in MS Project, AutoCAD and MS Office. Candidates who are in the final year of their mechanical engineering course can also apply and they will be permitted for interview/screening test only on production of their course completion certificate.

Age: The maximum age limit for this position is 28 years, relaxation of upper age limit is applicable for candidates who are already in service with GWSSB, reserved category candidates, and female candidates.

Method of selection:

Candidates will be selected either on the basis of screening test or on the basis of interview according to the discretion of the board.
