Can I get admission in 2nd year of B.Tech(Civil Engineering) through Lateral Entry if completed Architecture Diploma course?


Hello all,
I have completed my Diploma in Architecture but
now I want to do B.Tech in Civil Engineering in
2nd year through Lateral Entry. Kindly tell me
I can do B.Tech in this process with Civil Engineering?

You can apply for lateral entry in B.Arch course only which is of 5 years duration. You are not eligible for B.Tech Civil Engineering course because it is a different course in comparison to Architecture.

Therefore, you should apply for B.Tech Civil Engineering admission through lateral entry admission entrance exam which is mainly conducted on state level.
