Whether IGNOU offers B.Tech(Mining Engineering) to Diploma holder?


Hello everyone,
I have completed my Diploma in Mining Engineering.
I want to do B.Tech in same domain but from IGNOU.
I would like to know that IGNOU is providing this course?

You can't do B.Tech Mining Engineering in distance mode because AICTE doesn't approve any of these course because technical courses need regular classes and praticals. Therefore, you can't apply for this course from IGNOU because they don't offer this B.Tech course at present in distance mode.

IGNOU only provides distance education and according to AICTE you have to take admission in a regular colleges if you want to do courses like B.Tech course. Hence, you should apply for admission in a regular University.
