Can I join correspondence Diploma Automobile course in any Government institute if completed ITI about 33 years ago?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have passed ITI exam in Mechanical Motor Vehicle Trade about 33 years ago from Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. Can I join a distance/correspondence Government recognized Diploma course in Automobile Engineering? |

No sir at this time you are not allowed to continue your study in diploma field because there is a provision of gap year which is of minimum 4 year and maximum upto 6 year. As you completed iti course before 33 years ago thus you are not eligible to join diploma course on the behalf of ITI course.

Correspondence diploma in automobile engineering is not offered by a government recognized institute. Only open universities offer such courses. Polytechnic institutions offer only regular diploma courses.
Hence, you can apply for any polytechnic entrance exam for admission based on your ITI qualification. You will be eligible for lateral entry admission in second year through entrance exam. |
