It will be best if you continue your B.Tech course in the same field you have doe your Diploma in as it will enhance your knowledge as well as skill perfectly in the field and can fetch you a good job in future. You should not try to change your field now as it will only create hassle for you and nothing else.

You can appear for LEET/JELET examination and after scoring well in your examination, you can get admission in any good college in B.Tech course directly in 2nd year and thereafter you can carry in with your studies further.
