i did my diploma after 12th . is it possible to attend IPS exam? Can you tell me whether I am eligible

In the eligibility criteria it is clearly stated that the candidate should be a graduate. Diploma course cannot be considered equivalent to graduation. So certainly you will not be eligible for the same. You need to pursue a graduation if you aspire to be an IPS officer. You could start your preparation along with pursuing your graduation if you have a passion for the same.

To be eligible for Civil Services examination one should have a degree
equivalent to graduation.

Diploma degree is not at all equivalent to Graduation. It is equivalent
to 12th only.

So, you can become eligible for the exam only after passing a bachelor
degree in any stream.

To become an ips officer you must clear UPSC exam. To get eligible for writing that exam you must be a graduate and not a diplomat. So i don't think you are eligible for ips exam.

Only graduate and degree students are eligible for the IPS (civil service) exam.
Diploma candidates are not eligible for this exam.

I am sorry to say that,its not possible to attend IPS exam after completing your diploma.

Diploma is equal to 12th stranded.

Minimum qualification for to attend the exam is any bacholre degree with 60%.

So doing any degree after that you will attend the IPS exam.

i am 12th failed and i got 45% in 10th is there any field i can go for, and can appeare 12th side by side.

You can not give ips exam without degree
u must have a degree from any strem
it is prefered to u if u want to be an ips u should take the same subject in degree which u take in civil exams

Its not possible for you to attend the IPS exam after completing diploma in class 12th as the minimum educational qualification required is to be a graduate and diploma is class 12th is not at all equivalent to the graduation.

First , you need to do graduation and then think of the IAS exam.

For that , the age limitation is between 21- 30 years for the general category , 21-35 years for the SC/ST , 21-33 years for the OBC.

and your qualification is diploma which is not equivalent to graduate.so, you need to do atleast degree to be eligible for Civil service exam.

so you are not eligible with diploma to write IPS exam..
and also He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing

candidate must pass graduation or appearing graduation exam
age- 21 to 30 years for general
5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidate.

4 attempt for general candidate
7 attempe for Sc/ST candidate

all the criteria are satisfied then you eligible for IAS exam.....

to appear in IPS exam, the minimum eligibility criteria is graduation with age less than equal to 30 years.I want to inform you that diploma after +2 is not equivalent to graduation.So, you are not eligible to appear in the IPS exam.1st complete your graduation then appear in the IPS exam.

Education qualification:
Minimum graduation degree with any discipline from recognized university

Age:
Age should be between 21 to 30 years for General category candidates
Age should be between 21 to 33 year for OBC category candidates
Only minimum age is consider for SC/ST category candidate i.e 21 years

To appear for Indian Public Service exam,you should apply for Civil Service exams.

IPS exam comes under civil services . to be eligible for civil services you have to complete your graduation . after that only you can apply.

No, you can't appear in the IPS exam without completing your graduation. You can go for other field but you didn't mention the subject of your diploma.

No First of Al Yo Hav to Complete Yo Graduation or equivalant.. Then u r able to apply for entrance exams for civil services conducted by UPSC..

A diploma is not considered equivalent to a degree and any qualification, which is not equivalent to a degree, doesn't makes you eligible for civil service examination.
Since you are interested in Indian Police Service, you must try to enroll yourself for a bachelors degree program.
A graduate in any stream is eligible for the exam provided she/he is within the age limit of 21-30 years if belongs to general category, 21-33 years if belongs to OBC and 35 years if belongs to SC/ST category.
You may pursue your bachelors degree program through distance learning which is offered by many universities in India. Along with the course, you must start your preparation for the civil service exam. This will enable you to complete the syllabus of the civil service exam within time and as soon as qualify as a graduate, you will be well prepared for the civil service exam.

i am very sorry friend... you are not eligible now.. because if you want to apply for IPS exam, then you must complete Degree.. so first you can finish degree and then apply for the IPS exam
