Indira Gandhi Agriculture Univercity Raipur is offering MBA(Agri.)from 2014.i want to know that MBA (Agri)is post graduate degree in Agriculture or post graduate diploma in Agriculture and MBA(Agri.)is equalent to M.Sc.Economics or not.if any institute requre post graduate degree in agriculture for any job than a person who has degree of MBA(Agri.)can apply or not.

MBA in Agriculture is like a professional degree course in Management specialization. It is not equivalent to M.Sc course. Because, it just focuses only on Business and Management specialization. So, if you are interested in Management specialization then you can apply for MBA in Agriculture course.

MBA (i.e) Master of Business Administration. The duration of the course is two years which are divided into four semesters.
Eligibility Criteria: -

• The minimum eligibility to apply for the MBA in Agriculture is a graduation course in any discipline from a recognized university.
• An aggregate of 60% marks is required in the bachelor degree to apply for the MBA course.
• The final year candidates can also apply provided they complete their bachelor degree with the above mentioned percentage of marks.
  The applicant must qualify in entrance exams like, MAT, GMAT, CAT etc..
