Sir/Madam, I am samar kethan studying diploma 2nd year from hyderabad sir I want to join IIT for higher studies I don't know whether diploma students are eligible for join in IIT? Can you please give me the needed information soon? Thanks!

Yes, diploma holders are also eligible for IIT admission just like class 12th candidates through JEE Main and Advanced. If you are interested in IITs, then appear for JEE Main and Advanced.

The only disadvantage is that, if you want lateral entry, then it will not be possible in IIT. You will only get first year admission.

Yes, Diploma holders are eligible to apply for admission in OUR for pursuing higher studies. To get admission in IIT for pursuing your higher studies, you have to appear in JEE Main and JEE Advanced examinations. Only candidates who have qualified and secured top 2,00,000 rank in JEE Main examination are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination. If you qualify and secure top rank in JEE Advanced examination then, you will be called for counselling process and you will be allotted a seat in IIT for pursuing your higher studies.

No diploma holders are not eligible in IIT.

Candidate can get admission in Engineering in IIT through 2 exam.

IIT- JEE for to do Bachelor in Engineering Course.

Gate for to do Master in Engineering Course.

You cannot get admission in IITS through JELET exam.

After completion of diploma course, you are not eligible for IIT through lateral entry exam.

But if you can apply for JEE Main exam through your 12th standard course then you are eligible to get admission IIT.

But you should qualify in JEE Main and Advanced exam.
