I have completed my 12th about 4 years ago and now I want to study Diploma course in Hotel and Catering Management. I want to get admission in Periyar University. Kindly tell me am I eligible for getting admission? Please tell me asap.

The minimum educational qualification required for this course is 10th standard from a recognized board.

Your minimum age should be above 16 years.

For admission in diploma in hotel and catering management you just need class 10th qualification from a recognized board of education. Admission will be based on the performance in entrance exam.

If you want admission in Periyar university then you have to apply for the entrance exam conducted by the university. Just wait for notification and apply for it before last date.

A candidate who has passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or any other examination accepted by the Periyar University is eligible for the study of Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management. The course is one year duration. The course is offered through Periyar Institute of Distance Education (PRIDE). There will be an industrial training for 40 days.
