Eligibility to study PhD for an Architect who has completed B.Arch 30 years ago, Master's in Construction Management 27 years ago and PGD in Urban Planning 2 years ago?
Sir,
I am an Architect by profession. I did B.Arch 30 years ago then Master's in Construction Management 27 years ago. Can I do PhD now. As recently I have done Post Graduation Diploma in Urban Planning. |

See, there is no age limit for appearing in PhD. This happens for the graduation or master degree, that too if you do it from a regular university. From distance education there is no age limit for graduation or master degree too. Now what you need is to apply for PhD. in architectural engineering or to be more elaborate engineering sciences in any university. Most universities hold their own PhD. entrance examination and select candidates who clear that entrance examination. So after applying for any such university, sit for the respective PhD. entrance examination. If you are in the top ranking candidates you will hear a call from the university to come for the interview. If you clear that too you will be a research scholar in that university in the engineering sciences category.
