I am just 1st semester in diploma EEE branch, my dream is to become fighter pilot, my father also ex service men, after completing my diploma how can I become pilot ,& what are the health eligibility to become pilot, please guide me?

There is no officer like post available for diploma holders in Indian Air Force. You can look for junior level posts like Group X Technical trade which is specially for diploma holders.

Selection will be based on the performance in the written exam and physical fitness test. You should be according to medical standard of Indian Air Force.

No, you are not eligible to become pilot after diploma degree to become pilot in Air Force, you have to qualify in AFCAT examination.

AFCAT examination is conducted by Air Force twice every year and to appear for examination the minimum qualification is graduation degree. But, as you are interested in pilot you have to pursue B.tech course from any recognised university.

Diploma passed candidates are not eligible to join Air Force. To join Air Force you need at least B.tech degree.

As the eligibility to appear for CDS examination conducted conducted for recruitment of candidates as Navy, Air Force, OTA and Army is candidate must have passed B.tech/B.E or B.Sc Mathematics or Physics from any recognised university for Air Force and Navy.

There is no limitation on discipline of graduation to appear for Army and OTA. The age limit is 19-23 years for Air Force.

As, you are interested in become pilot in Air Force you can appear for AFCAT examination after B.tech.
