Grade doesn't matter you need to score in entrance exam which is conducted for student's want to get admission in diploma. Rank in CET will decide that either you will get seat in government college or not.

The minimum education qualification required for diploma is 10th standard. If a student has passed 10th standard form any recognized board are eligible for diploma course.

So, try to get as more marks as possible. After declaration of result you need to compete in counselling. If your score is high lower is your rank and chance to get seat in government polytechnic is more.
