You have completed diploma course in Mechanical field so you are not eligible for B.Arch through Lateral Entry exam.

Eligibility criteria for Lateral entry exam:-

(i)Passed diploma course in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy with above 60% marks.

(ii)Passed Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Mathematics as a subject with above 60% marks.

(iii)Your age should above 18 years.

Yes, candidate can pursue Architecture Engineering after Diploma in Mechanical field.

Eligibility :

Candidate must have passed 12th or 3 year Diploma course from any recognised board and institution.
Candidate must have secured more than 50% marks in 12th or Diploma.
Age of candidate must be from 17 to 23 years.

No, it is not possible to do Architecture Engineering after completion of your three years Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates who have completed three years Diploma course are eligible to pursue Engineering course only in Mechanical Engineering. So, you are not eligible to do Architecture Engineering after completion of your three years Mechanical Engineering Diploma course.

For B.Arch you need either 10+2 with maths or D.Arch for lateral entry admission. You have diploma in mechanical engineering which is not suitable for B.Arch course.

You are only eligible for B.Tech engineering stream through lateral entry exam. Hence, if you want admission in engineering stream then apply for the entrance exam.
