Sir,

I am doing diploma in CSE and will complete this course by 2017. I want to know about the career options under government sector for students like me. Please reply with the informative answer.

You can apply for various jobs under government organization with the degree you hold. Although there isn't quite much of job opportunities in government sector with your qualification, but still you can opt for some of them as a technician post in companies like;

> BHEL.

> BSNL.

> ONGC.

> FMCG, etc.

Other than this there are various junior radiologist posts, junior lab assistant posts which you could opt for in government organizations.

As you will only e a Diploma holder, therefore you will not be eligible to apply for various big posts, however you can apply for job as a technician, junior assistant, junior radiologist, lab assistant, etc.

Information Regarding Ahead Career After Diploma.

Nice to see your interest in the ahead career. There are lot of opportunity available for you after completing the diploma course in CSE branch.

If you want to go in government sector job after diploma course then you may prepare for the competition like RRB JE, SSC CGL...and many other examination. You may join any good coaching institute for preparation. The competition is really hard due to large number of candidates so you need to work hard to get success.

If you're interested in the ahead education then you may take admission in direct second year of the B.Tech course through the lateral entry examination. So, lot of opportunity available for you after completing the diploma course. You must choose any one field as per own interest not by other.

You have a lots of career opportunities in government sector after completion of your diploma in CSE but I will give you suggestion to do your graduation like ( B.Tech /B.E,BCA,B.Sc-IT)and post graduation because its helps you to get reputed job and salary.
If you are interested in jobs then you can do job as a Assistant Engineer, Assistant Catering Officer, Technical Assistant, Junior Technical Assistant, Senior Ship Draftsman, Junior Commercial Assistant, Steno, Store Keeper.
You can work in various govt. Companies and branches like Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, RITES Ltd,Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Resonant BPO Service Ltd. etc.
You can also give various entrance exams like SSC (Staff Selection Commission) to get jobs in Railway,Banks and on various junior posts.
