Actually the minimum educational qualification required to study polytechnic diploma course is " 10th standard ". Although 10th standard students are eligible to for Diploma course there is also an eligibility for 12th candidates as well.
More over you can also do Polytechnic course after completion of 12th also. But it's all based on the career options. In fact with Diploma course you will have a chance to get a job in PSU's without GATE as Technical Assistant. But it is not possible with the B.E/B.Tech candidates. They all need is GATE score to get job in various PSU's. And also you can apply for various Power stations with your qualification. If you want to continue your education then you can give an exam called " Polycet like ECET there by you will get a admission in various colleges for B.E/B.Tech courses. |
