Hi Sir, I have completed my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 2005. I have more than 7 years of experience in Electrical Design field. Which should I choose between Diploma in Electrical or B.E in Mechanical to have a better scope?

The aspirant can choose B.E or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering after Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course. Because you have studied Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, so you can study B.E or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. You can study the course through lateral entry mode; the candidates will be admitted directly to the second year of the B.E or B.Tech course. There will be an entrance examination for the lateral entry admission in some states.

Since you have completed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, according to my opinion you should opt BE in Mechanical Engineering as it will be better for you than Diploma in Electrical Engineering. As you have already completed diploma course before, you must now go for Degree course rather than again doing Diploma. BE will increase your knowledge in the respective field as well as will increase your post.
