First of all you need to decide the institute where you would like to pursue the course. For most of the foreign universities you will need to appear either one of them GRE, GMAT or TOEFL.

About Scholarship:

Scholarship is given to the candidates considering their academic and research profile.

Academic include marks obtained in 10th, 12th and your extra curricular activities.

Research profile includes project works and paper published. Apart from these two also

important the profile of the person who are referring or recommending you for higher

studies plays important role.

Scholarships for your studies in Abroad are generally sponsored by the respective universities based on your application/profile. What I mean by profile is you should have a good record of academics.

You should have good purpose on why you want to study what is financial status and why you want to get financial aid from college. What interests you to apply to their university. Apart from this we recently heard that some state governments and welfare trusts in India are offering scholarships to MERITORIOUS students.

To expect scholarship from foreign universities you should have good grades right from your school days. You should have good knowledge in your under graduation subjects. You should score very well in GRE/TOEFL. You should also have very good statement of purpose for higher studies in foreign country.

Research about some good universities which you wish to apply for your higher studies.

After locking two three options you have to follow the process of admissions like getting good score in GRE/TOEFL/IELTS which ever is applicable for admission. Once you send your profile along with application for admission they will let you know the percentage of scholarship that they are likely to offer you along with admissions.

Mostly this scholarship will be in the form of fee waiver and/or stipend
Fee waiver will be ranging from 10 to 100% and stipend will be enough to cover your personal expenses while studying the course.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
