You will get full interest subsidy under the central scheme approved by the government during the course period plus one year or six months after getting the job whichever is earlier and after getting the job the students has to repay the loan along with the interest on the education loan as per the basic rate of individual banks which was taken from the nationalized bank and as per the provisions for interest rates under the Indian Bank Association model education loan scheme. You can also apply for the education loan under The National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC), The National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation (NSKFDC), National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC), National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSCFDC), and the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC) under these schemes the expense of interest is totally borne by the Government. To get the education loan you need to submit the necessary documents which is demanded by the bank like the candidate needs to submit photo copy of Address proof, Income proof, Income details, Education documents like SSC and HSC mark sheet or degree certificates. The candidate must have secured admission in the recognized University in India or abroad.
Parents should sign up as the Co-Applicant. The applicant should be an Indian national. The student should not have any outstanding loan amount from any other bank. |
