Hello, I am a student of class 12th (UP board) PCM group. I am confused about my career. I belong to a poor family. I want to know that can I get education loan for engineering course? And if yes then please tell me how much money can I get as education loan for engineering course?

Yes, you can avail educational loan for pursing higher education.

The minimum eligibility criteria for applying educational loan is that candidate must be a citizen of India and he/ she must have passed class 12 examination from a recognized board and he/ she should have secured admission for graduation in any of the recognized college to pursue a recognized and valid course.

All nationalized banks offer educational loans to pursue higher education either in India or abroad.

The minimum educational loan offered by bank is Rs.4 lacs without any collateral security and maximum of 15 lacs.

You need to apply for the Loan to a Bank of your choice.
You must provide the Letter of Admission that will be provided to you by your University as a Document for the Bank for your Educational Loan.
You must also show a guarantor for the Loan that will be taken.
You must also show the Income tax return that is filed by the guarantor
Once you do this your Loan will be sanctioned by the Bank where you are applying for the Loan.
The minimum amount that is offered is Rs 4 Lacs and the maximum that is offered is Rs 20 lacs.
Rs 4-6 lacs is in most cases enough to pursue the course of B.Tech so you need not worry and so you are from a poor family you can also get a Scholarship or the Loan amount with a collateral.
