How the SBI component bank's merger will effect on education loan? Should I apply in Axis Bank?


Sir, I have got admission in degree course at SGIT and now willing to apply for education loan at SBI but worried about merger of SBI banks. Please tell me effects of merger of SBI component banks on education loan? Should I apply in Axis Bank?

There will not be any effect on education loan with SBI component bank's merger. All the state banks which comes under SBI merged into single bank SBI. All the transactions and operations carried by SBI Bank will be same and there will be no effects on education loan. So, I suggest you to apply for an education loan in any bank of your interest for pursuing your higher studies.
