MHRD provides stipend to M. Tech as well as Ph.D students too. As you want to know about the assistance for GATE qualified students for Ph.D students.
Following are the details regarding Ph.D Programmes: --If you have a graduate degree in professional courses (BE/ B. Tech/ M.Sc) with a valid GATE score above the prescribed cut off. then you will get 25000 per month. --If you have a postgraduate degree (ME/ M.Tech) with two years of experience in research then you will get 28000 per month. **Since MHRD had revised the rates in November 2014 and raised to the above limit.
