What should I go for first between Ph.D and Lectureship? Name some institutes for pursing Ph.D with lecturer job.
i am june 2012 net qualified and two times gate qualified in mathematics,my age is now 32 years.should i go for phd first or go for lecturership in any institution and then apply for phd.or plz name some institute where i pursue phd with lecturer job.

It is better to complete you PhD first and then go for the job.
It will be better for you in the long run. As you are NET Qualified you will also be paid a Scholarship amount which is very good during the tenure during which you pursue the course of PhD. So apply for the JRF Scholarship that you are eligible to at once and then get yourself admitted to the course of PhD in a University of your Choice. PhD in Mathematics is available in almost all the Universities in India and you can take admission to any one of the Universities which is easily accessible for you. |
