Re: Options of career after 10+2 in non-medical
After 10+2 u can apply for DEFENCE services if u are not interested in engineering.
You have to appear for NDA examination.2 exams are held in a year for NDA(NDA-I and NDA-II). A written exam is held after clearing that u will be called for SSB(service selection board) interview. The written test is of total 900 marks with two sections of 600 and 300 each. the interview is of 5 days clearing which u will gone through a medical check up after which a merit will be out and on clearing that u will be sent to NDA,pune. for training of 3 yrs. U can refer : http://upsc.gov.in/ for this. You can also do BBA and then MBA if u r interested in management. if u r interested in banking or accounts then u can join b.com. |

Re: Options of career after 10+2 in non-medical
hello dear
there are many courses available apart from medicals.......like you can apply for engineering, defense services....or even apply for courses like BBA,BBM,...... the only advantage for a science student is that , he can apply for all the courses available ...like he can easily switch to ther courses ...like commerce and arts.... but students of other steam can not do that...... for engineering you can apply for AIEEE,IIT,BITSAT,MIT,VIT...and state level exams.... you can apply for NDA ,and technical entry also...... best of luck.. thank you |

Re: Options of career after 10+2 in non-medical
dear friend,
Hello don't tensed as you passed 12th with PCM with additional subject computer science (I think), is one of the best combination in 12th standard. -> This will not be good decision for you to drop for one year. It will better for you to take admission in any of the nearby good college . -> After 12th with such great combination there are so many option where you can get admission any of the following : 1. Can go for Hon-ours graduate degree choosing any of the following four subject. 2. Prepare for IIT JEE or AIEEE and then go for B.Tech. degree. 3. BCA is one of the option, 4. BBA is another option to you, I suggest you to go for option 1 or 2 as you wish. all the best. |

Re: Options of career after 10+2 in non-medical
Instead complete the diploma course and go to engg. Which could yield you more knowledge than entering directly.
They have to not that, all engg. colleges were basically collecting 1.5 lakh as minimum donation in my country. So if they join after diploma, they could learn more and save the donation funds. ok all the best. |
