i have scored 92.2 percent in 12th cbse in the year 2011-12. I have not appeared any competetive exams and im not the only child to my parents. Can i apply the scolorship?

Students who are above 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream for a particular Board of Examination, in class XII of 10+2 pattern or equivalent and not belonging to the creamy layer as defined by the Deptt. of Personnel and Training in their NotificationNo.36012/22/93-Estt. (Res), dated 9th March, 2004 (Annexure V) and as may be furthermodified from time to time, pursuing regular courses (not correspondence or distance mode)from recognized educational institutions and not availing of any other scholarship scheme,
would be eligible for consideration this Scheme. This is application to all categories of students both ‘general’ and ‘reserved’.

RATE OF SCHOLARSHIPS
The rate of scholarship would be Rs.1000/- p.m. at Graduation level for first three years of College and University courses and Rs.2000/- per month in the 4th and 5th year. The scholarship would be paid for 10 months in an academic year.

you can get the scholarship by filling the form of central sector scholarship(csss)
but if you have register in this scholarship then you wont have to register in other scholarship this is the only eligibility for you.


you can also get your scholarship from collage also if you not belong to general categori,and your father gross salary is less than 1.20laks and your pet rank is less than7000

There are two scholarships in which you are eligible
1. CBSE Merit Scholarship
2. CBSE Merit schlorship for AIEEE

In the first scholarship the selection is done on the basis of your marks in AISSCE.

And in the second one the selection is done on the basis os you All India Rank in AIEEE.

when this page opens,scroll down to the bottom of the page and there u will find an option for "scholarship".

cbse provides scholarship to those students(12th passouts) under central scheme who have their scores in top 90 percentile of all the students who appeared in their respective streams. even i was one of the fortunate student to have received this scholarship..

Eligibility: All conditions are mandatory andapplicable to all categories of applicants

a. The applicant should be an Indian national

b. The applicant should have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination 2010 conducted by CBSE and have secured the total aggregate marks (in first five subjects) equal or above the following minimum marks as per the stream opted by the applicant:
Science Commerce Others
Minimum Total Aggregate Marks for all categories (SC/ST/OBC/UR) to apply for Scholarship (Marks in first five subjects) 408/500 380/500 334/500

c. The applicant should be pursuing higher studies and have taken admission in Under Graduation regular course (not correspondence or distance mode) from recognized Educational Institutions in India

d. The applicant should not be availing any other scholarship

e. Total Annual Income of parents of the applicant from all sources should not exceed Rs 4.5 lakh per annum

f. The applicant should not belong to creamy layer as defined by DoP&T from time to time. (Govt. of India, Dept. of Per. & Trg., OM No. 36033/S/2004-Estt. (Res.), dated 14-10-2004) (This is applicable to all categories of applicants both ‘general’ and ‘reserved’)
Scholarship amount and duration:
Course Amount Disbursal
Graduation Rs.1000/- per month* for three years To be disbursed lump sum Amount of Rs.10,000/- at end of academic year. For 4th and 5th year of Professional Courses @ Rs 2000/- per month.
Post Graduation

(Other than that of the professional courses)
Rs 2000/- per month for two years after Graduation To be disbursed lump sum Amount of Rs.20,000/- at end of academic year.

Number of scholarships will be distributed amongst pass out of the Science, Commerce and Humanities in ratio of 3:2:1. Reservation to SC, ST, OBC and PH will be as per guidelines of the Govt of India.
Mode of Disbursal of Scholarship
a. Scholarship amount shall be sent to the selected candidate’s Bank Account only by ECS (Electronic Clearing System) mode.

b. Applicants are requested to open Bank Account in his/her name in a branch of any Scheduled Nationalised/ commercial Bank which has ECS facility. Applicants are advised to provide their Bank Account number, Bank Name and detail address of the Bank and the correct RTGS/NEFT branch code of the Bank.

c. No request for sending the amount of scholarship by Draft or in account of parents or joint account will be entertained

Renewal of Scholarship
a. For renewal of Scholarship, applicant has to apply on separate renewal form. Applicant should have passed in all the subjects in semester/annual examinations with not less than 60 % marks in the aggregate of 2 semester or annual examinations and have maintained 75 % attendance, good discipline and not involved in ragging activities etc.

b. Scholarship once cancelled will not be revived under any circumstances.

answer:-
first u contact with the higher education department in your state whrevr u belongs from, for d stipend called MHRD(ministry of human resource development). this is generally provides to the students who has got average 60% marks in 12 class among top 100 students who has applied for this stipend ... fr this purpose u can cntact with ur clg stipend dept. also

another option is NAC/NEC , u can get it from ur board under which u hv passed ur exam....

last, u can get stipend from ur current studying institution also by contacting with stipend dept. in ur clg.
